PAULE-ANDRÉE CASSIDY

​A pioneer of the independent Quebec music scene, Paule-Andrée Cassidy has always known how to renew herself by collaborating with artists from diverse backgrounds, thus contributing to the advancement of female songwriting. A presence both discreet and intense, in search of thrills on stage, singing great lyrics without worrying about current tastes, she is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix du Disque from the Académie Charles-Cros. The performer has released several albums and has multiple tours to her credit, which have taken her to France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Romania, the United States, Russia, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina. In 2023, for the first time in her nearly 30-year career, she chose to highlight her lyrics on her 8th album: Au bal des océans. For 20 years, she has also supported numerous artists in the development of their practice and career.
